Locked Up In Here.. - Poem by Kirstie Duekett
I run for the door,
Hear my foot steps against the floor.
I feel the adrenaline run through my body fast,
I take a deep breath my oxygen won't last.
I can not get away,
If I run it only extends my stay.
My heart is pumping fast,
I'm kicked up on here because I cannot face the past.
I try and catch my breath I'm screaming ever do loud,
I have failed again, willl I ever be proud.
I want out of this locked ward,
Please just give me the rooks to walk foward.
