Loneliness Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

Loneliness

When someone leaves you alone
And you have no place to go
That's the loneliness I talk of
When you feel unbearably low.

What do you reply to the waves
That call for you in the sea?
Do you feel their loneliness too?
Or just call it your absurdity?

How long will you be waiting
For answers to come up for you?
Why don't you step ahead and ask
And clear misunderstandings, old and new?

Perhaps, those sea waves tell the same
But who knows if that person is still there
May be loneliness is more suited for you
For this silent soul is a bit too rare.

May be you could let yourself free
To decide if to fight back or give in
For, though people come and go
Loneliness would always be within.
