Loneliness Of Mankind Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Loneliness Of Mankind

Solemn music telling the story of reflection in streets,
walking alone, thinking of the loneliness of mankind
trying their patience, filling them with despair.

No one there to help in these times of complete and utter
devastation, lying in spaces of sadness that's filling
them with empty tears.

Hearts skipping beats, wanting to stop permanently be-
cause of the pain, suffering and hardship that continues
to take them down and apart.

So difficult to contain this pure and unadulterated
sorrow of loss in life, wondering how much longer these
beings can cope with it.

Or possibly letting it all just come crashing down, leav-
ing it all behind, walking into the final sunsetical hori-
zon of life, looking joyfully to the other side at last.
