Oh! My sweet lover come and hold me tight;
Of a lonely night when,
Lovers have to be in loving arms.
Oh! This is just like one of the lonely nights without you;
And i am feeling the blues without a clue.

For, whenever i feel the blues,
I need you around to warm me up.
The muse of life!
This is just a lonely night without you in my arms;

Feeling the cold alone without you;
Hoping that one day you will be around me,
In loving arms to warm me up.
Oh! The stars could have been around to spell out our names;
So, come back soon my lover to feel my blues,

Lonely on my bed of roses!
