Lonely Orchid Poem by NAYANIKA DEY

Lonely Orchid

Rating: 4.5

I am the lonely orchid
Over the serpent's nest,
Reaping the whirlwind
Of the midnight thunder.
But someday I'll hold back the sun,
To kiss the moonbeam in the dark,
Till it becomes a remnant of magic.
