Lonely People Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Lonely People

Words spreading their meanings across time,
alighting in twilight, escaping the bright
sunshine of the day.
Stars lurking above, entering dreams and
desires of those lonely people on earth.
Sensing inner feelings filling my heart
with an unkempt emptiness.
Solitary figure, traveling down life's
roadways and disappearing with the night.
