Lonely Years Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Lonely Years

Someday, there will come a better day
While waiting, is just a wish for time to near
She, in all her wonder, is envisioned
A face so lovely; Only Mine' Shall hold so dear

Unsettled Life, awaits a better moment
Tears may rain on every dream and fear
Until the waters are warm and fill an ocean
Only one is waiting by the shore of water, clear

When the world knows loving you is tender
In the way once held by silence, a feeling so sincere
When at last there is a final sunset
Until then; Must be the lonely years
