Lost In Love Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Lost In Love

So deep in vision resting so uneasy
For him so bitter is love, tormenting
In a world unreal when the mind is thinking
None shall hear a calling where thine heart is seeking

Years must pass as life moves on
And what once was is not where some belong
Why within this mind love lingers on
Nay, spoken in dreams, has never gone

Do not follow where they walk in shadows
Some things in life must be left alone
Still, when 'one' has cast a shadow
It tends to lead to places never known

In the darkest reach once sane, until
A boy in-love is reliving dreams, unfulfilled
She has never answered, and she never will
Ever lost in love- He searches still
