Long Queue Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Long Queue

Rating: 5.0

I reached the strange land,
There was a long queue,
Many people stood there,
They smiled at me very sweetly,
I felt all of them were my friends,
But as I thought deeply,
I clearly understood they were in disguise,
Actually they were my enemies.

We cannot judge a person by mere appearance. Sometimes darkness lurks in a sweet faced person. An interesting write to ponder about. Well penned.
