Long Time Poem by Tailor Bell

Long Time

Rating: 5.0

Noon can sometimes feel
dreamy midnight like

Underwater

Moth at the circus
marking geography of this brain
you map me, move me easily

Believing only in cheerleaders

We can never stand
as long as robots stand

Eventually exotic
Drumming brings my kind

Signal over creosote cruelty
Isolated

Tailor, The very perceptive Will said it all so much better than I could. It's up there with the best of your extraordinary work. For some reason I can't access individual messages on here - meaning I can see that they're there and who they're from etc but every time I try to open one I get the log in again refrain... It goes on and on like ping pong until I jump on the ball again... No.. I've been anything but offended by you.. Hope you're keeping weel good sir... And long may you keep producing work of this calibre... I look in a few times per month and travel round the usual suspects for mental and emotional nourishment... and your page always makes me smile, and makes me wonder... at great length, about many things.. Thanks.. jim

The words almost mean something, but plunge the reader onward. Those who love simile get lost in metaphor, then go astray here. Yours is a rare talent. I spent much time puzzling over this collection of words and images. You so engage the mind with no conclusion in sight: a bit of science, a bit of philosphy and ultimately a bit of a savage grin as you twist away, leaving a baffled reader, clouds of images and a wistful longing for one more hint What's all this, then? - Will
