Long Way Down - Poem by Onuora ilodibe

Still
Waited for me
After all these while
How you made me feel.
Abysmal
Trash in the sewer
Plankton in the sea
Jellies in fresh water
Way far beyond
My pedigree
They keep telling me
You no good for me
Like Placebos
Can't help how i feel
Maybe is true Am infected
Think i Caught a flu
How i met you
Not a fluke
But destiny
That brought you
Long Way down
The barrows of my heart.
