A girl looked at the night sky through the window.
Amidst thousand stars, she failed to recognize
her father's twinkling face, the moon shine
seemed to be her father's smile.
She looked down on this earth-
darkness prevailed everywhere:
the utter reality of life- decay.
She looked up again.
A piece of thin cloud floating on the sky
might be her father's ashes.
She looked down.
Darkness floated like an old preying vulture.
She looked up for the third time.
An unknown bird flew away making a noise-
perhaps her father's soul.
She looked down.
Darkness never flew away,
it sat on the ground with folded legs forever.
Darkness floated like an old preying vulture.. wonderful poetic imagination! Her coclusive glance at darkness provides enough food to this wonderful poem...beautifully composed! Top marks

A well written poem. The contrast between what is visible and what is invisible is superb!
