Loose Shutter Poem by Eric Cockrell

Loose Shutter

i am nothing more
than the loose shutter,
banging against the window
of a foreclosed house...

but the shutter,
the wind that blows it,
the window, and even
the empty rooms...

all have faces,
all have names!
