Lord, come soon
into our sufferings,

Take the side of all
who are alone.

Come into the thoughts
of those who research
and advisethe hearts of all
who are poisoned
by the hatred of
many generations.

Come into the eyes
of those who
only see themselves.

Come into the minds
of all those
who threaten
to override anyone.

Lord, come soon
as the one who
lives in the midst of us
as the one who
completes us.
