Lord, Bless Our Ears
Lord, bless our ears
that they can hear
your voice, that
they listen carefully
to the voice of the needy,
that they are deaf
to the noise and
the chatter, that
they do not ignore
the uncomfortable
crying of the poor.

Another little gem of a poem. We must always help those in despair. As a management accountant I was dealing with £000,000 every day and in the evening I was chairman of a homeless charity. The difference was striking.
