Lord, Help Me Poem by Randy McClave

Lord, Help Me

Lord, will you take this burden away from me
The weight upon my shoulder I cannot see,
No longer this weight can I alone carry
Upon this earth my burdens I need to bury.
I don't know how much more that I can take,
And I truly feel my soul is at stake.

Then unto me the Lord did speak
My soul and my body no longer did feel weak,
I then knew that the lord was beside of me
My soul and mind was full of glee.

Lord could you please give me a hand
So, with the help of others I know I can stand,
You are the one that gives me hope and strength
And you're the one who gives my life length.
Lord I can't carry this burden any longer,
So, could you please make my back stronger.
