Lost And Wasted Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Lost And Wasted

Rating: 5.0

In the darkest of places,
Clawing away,
Lost and wasted.
Where is the light i search for?
Where is the life i yearn for?
Throw me a rope,
To climb out of this hole,
I'm slipping away,
down this long greasy pole.
My mind is mixed up,
with how life should be,
Peace and contentment,
Come rescue me.

We can all, at times, relate to these words. Tomorrow can only be better.
