Lost Cause Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Lost Cause

Lost cause

Guy without cause lost pose because of those
Those in whom powerful power repose
Tried a coup the cost
Tried campaign he lost
Worked for the one he had tried to depose

Lost cause

A man lost his pose because of his girth
His friends always laughed at him since birth
At the annual contest (he was an alien)for refugees
He decided to submit a portrait of his effigy.

Lost cause

L-osing is part of winning
O-ne wins due to scheming
S-hame befalls the loser
T-he loser the accuser
C-ausing embarrassment
A-ccusing winner of embezzlement
U-ntil people get tired of the circus
S-illy accusations of hoccus poccus
E-very loser knows it's a lost cause
