The woods beckon
So green
So deep
nature has woken
at morn
from its sleep
A buzzing hum
Is it a song
That makes me want to sing along
Butterflies of many a hue
Trees never seen before
So new
And the greenness
Unbelievable
Intense,
The jungle
So thick so dense,
Is it a cry
I hear?
Of the cuckoo bird
Heralding
The monsoon
So near
Come walk with me love
In the woods
So green
Do not fear
Let the sunlight
Filtering through the dark canopy
Of a vibrant green
Light our way
Let us just walk
Hand in hand
Through the woods
Just the two of us
