When love fades away
Betrayal whispers close by
Seeking shadows in the night
Her ghost haunts each breath.

You cannot deceive
Eyes that once knew all your heart
Lingering like silent frost
Lies unravel slow.

Every glance a search
For her face among the crowd
Echoes of what used to be
In strangers' smiles and laughs.

But she stands alone
A memory's lingering touch
Fleeting as morning mist fades
Lost in time's cold grasp.
