Let me sleep a little
What you have not allowed me to
Since many ages
By saying
Do not colour me
Do not push me away
Taking my hand in your hand.
This is the only time
When no one has remained the same
Each one has been transformed to the other one
I am not I, You not you
A wish fulfilled
and cherished since ages.
You were the same maiden
Who had
Wished for the evil apple
To taste it a little
Knowingly all
Had forgotten the life,
Before and after.
Why do you say no now
say
Somebody or the other is present nearby
You lie still face upside down covering yourself
Making me egocentric
You still wish that
I may leave with my ego
And thinking so
You sleep for all births to come.
