Love And Flowers Bloom In The Grandmother's Heart Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

A grand-daughter looks so lovely in her sleep
Her grandmother cradles her gently in her arms.
She holds the grand-daughter tenderly and carefully
She walks slowly while her heart sings to the baby.
She has been cuddling the grand-daughter for one week
Both the baby and her grandmother are equally happy.
When the grand-daughter opens her sparkling black round eyes
Her eyes fixate on grandmother's eyes in place of her words.
Today is the Winter solstice
The sun shines beautifully but trees are waiting for a breeze.
There are no butterfly and few flowers this time of the year
But love and flowers bloom in the grandmother's heart.

LÒNG BÀ ĐẦY HOA VỚI TÌNH

Cháu nằm, cháu ngủ dễ thương
Hai tay bà ẵm, bà thương rất nhiều.
Cháu nằm, bà nhẹ nâng niu
Nhẹ nhàng bà bước, nhạc tim thay lời.
Bà cưng đã một tuần rồi
Cháu, bà hạnh phúc, hai người như nhau.
Đen tròn mắt cháu long lanh
Mắt bà mắt cháu nhìn nhau thay lời.
Hôm nay trời đã vào đông
Ngoài kia trời nắng, cây chờ gió lay.
Mùa này chẳng bướm, ít hoa
Nhưng lòng bà đã đầy hoa với tình.
