Love Becomes You Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Love Becomes You

Love becomes you
and gives you trust,
if it's all true
it can't go rust.
Love's everything
not just a dream,
it's more like spring
and fresh river stream.

Love becomes a new
like footsteps on,
if love is in you
it's never gone.
It's all like sunshine
with pleasures to be,
and hard to define
just wait and see.

If love is inside
it's true like a heart,
and cannot hide
or ever depart.
For that's all in you
to give and find,
and become true
in both heart and mind.

If love is not lost
it is still all giving,
and cannot be tossed
through times of living.
It's all inside you
and more to come,
gets rose red and blue
like summer blossom.

Love becomes you
and gives you trust,
if it's all true
it can't go rust.
For you are its keeper
and giver of touch,
it goes with you deeper
and loves you as much.

It goes with you deeper
and loves you as much.
