Shower upon me, O' rain
Drench me till skin-cold
Wash away tears and pain
Cleanse the smudged soul

Come O' rain, flow like a river
Flood my inner being and heart
Copious tears to mingle with water
Be lost in you, with no regret

Showers of blessings, come!
Rain upon my very soul
Reign, let your kingdom come
Consume me with love's outpour

Absolved, may I see you rainbow
Recreate in me a new spring
See flowers blossom in the meadow
Tend my garden to forever, joy-bring
