If I could bring the best out of you
I would want you to be star diamond
That shines brightly nights through
Twinkling to guide me each moment
Inspiring me to write my best poems
To last beyond our lifetimes
Carved into tablets for poets' forum
My love for you etched through time
We'd give our lives to touch the world
Witness our love for a following
Our gift of love to enrich some soul
Someday we'd be like stars twinkling
