Love declares, bold and thrilling to the heart.
Once, dreary colourless days kept spirits low
Passing hours grey and not worth remembering
Days long dark gloomy tunnels from dawn to dusk.
But love has enthroned majestically within the heart
And time cannot not remove nor harass its reign.
Now each passing day has purpose because of you
Seeing and hearing you, amazed that you love me.
Your presence bringing such awe and jubilation
Pausing time with heart entranced by your beauty
Giving such joy and happiness thrilling to the heart.
Kisses excite the flesh and race the blood with desire
Whispered words of love echo on within the mind.
Precious soulmate and reason for each new day.
