Fire and brimstone
fell from the sky
burning all colour
from vacant eyes.
Plagues of locusts ate
leaving bare stalks
on dry dusty ground
no food remained.
The air inhaled itself
absorbing all breath
lungs empty left.
Space collapsed
to a point with no point
time became lost
and cried.
Mind with no place
no sound
mind died.
Only love
remained
unchanged.
