Love Immortal Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Love Immortal

Rating: 5.0

Take me to the graveyard where she is lying
Young and beautiful;
Where I can sit under the tree and drink
Where the wind blows cool;

Let me drink as much as I can and rue
The time together we spent;
The folds and dales shone with her beauty
When the moon seemed faint;

The charm she had held over me in youth
I still have it in me;
This wine will make me forget the love we had
Now with angels she is supposed to be;

I will wander through the land where we met
And slept whole night long;
I had held her in tight embrace and her
Fragrance in me is still going strong;

Drunk and beaten, I so much wish to sleep
With her in that musty hole;
Her beauty must have vanished in to the dark
But I can still meet her soul.

Hope this is something fictional! A moving write! Her beauty must have vanished in to the dark But I can still meet her soul. Real love transcends the barriers of flesh! !
