It's funny how time flies when I'm WITH YOU..
The hurdles, bruises and fun we've BEEN THROUGH..
Deep in your eyes I see my STRENGTH AND SHIELD..
You got this Midas touch that makes my TEMPER CHILL..
When I'm down and low, you fire my SPIRITS UP..
Thought me to be strong, focused and REALLY TOUGH..
There are days when we've had our moments at LOGGERHEADS..
I stay angry and distant like you're a FORMER EX..
But a plant can't do without it's root I GUESS..
If people was songs your melody would be MY BEST..
I've loved you and hate you and love you EVEN MORE..
Cos life is about the choices and peeps we're LIVING FOR..
We've come a long way, but the journey's STILL FAR..
I'm glad I'm on this trip here with you in THIS CAR..
I'm thankful for a wonderful gift in FLESH AND FORM..
I wouldn't want another in the life after when NEXT I COME..
