Help From The Skies Poem by John Defiant

Help From The Skies

Rating: 5.0

Dearest God, please give me strength..
Save me from the things that I do detest..
Guide my thoughts, let my paths be straight..
For the things I do not possess, teach me that I have to wait..
When I'm weak and torn, be my inner song..
Sing your sweetness to my soul till my liver turns..
Shape my focus point till I shine like blades..
And if I start to stray, Lord blind my gaze..
May I never stop praying night and day..
Keep me covered in the bosom of your might I pray..
Thank you God for now and later..
Soon the world would marvel at how I'm greater..
For it is you in me, my drive and force..
I remain eternally thankful for the life I've got..
