mind darts in mesmerising thoughts love caught
like a shoal of small fishes in summer shallow
waters swimming wave seashore summer breeze
mind leaps caught in shifting light catching scales
in silver fleet patterns as shoals of fish wave dance
love can cast her nets wide catch all stray thoughts
love fleet of foot can run with freedom within
all world horizons of an entire love struck mind
love ardent takes up residence within heart mind
refuses to leave image thoughts of sought beloved
are first thoughts at birth of day last at days death
love dawns fingernail creeps in red yellow first light
spreading across dawn horizon may endure a lifetime
to become the glorious blazing sunset of out days

It is good to write dedications. Writing dedications to honour the origins of ideas and inspiration, is like a sacred trust and a diary reference, to aid memory in far distant readings.
The images in this wonderful poem are very compelling. Liked this powerful line, to wit; ' love ardent takes up residence within heart and mind.'
People have differing preferences and experiences of love, to love with depth is to welcome and saviour the precious time, when love ardent takes up residence within heart and mind.

Gosh, you have enshrined love in lovely visions. Such original evocations of feeling!
There are shoals of small fish like this in the summer time, in the warm sandy shallows at low tide of local beaches near my home. Nature is never far away in rural country areas, sights sounds experiences alien to most city lifestyles.
