Love Rushes In Poem by Thomas Kane

Love Rushes In

Love run a ground
One left now found

Day dreams pass way
Lifted worries now lay

Rest your head and see
One soul I search, I need

One left to their lonely way
May it be love comes this day

In any matter my deepest wishes
Dreams of a day with long shared kisses

Love not thrown, but placed this seed
So I sow with all my heart and need

Words rehearsed and once more played out
As my mouth opens the mind fills with doubt

Panic sets as I stumble for a word
A groan and a gurr is all that can be heard

Beet red blood rushes from the heart
Fills the face, every last part

Unforgiving silence echos was I wrong
Seconds tick a song running long

The train wrecked crop, what have I planted?
If only I speak or even ranted

Now derailed the encroaching doom
Then a sudden burst! an explosion! what looms?

Laughter wails out like a fog horn bellows
Shocked with relief all the common fellow

Calming sensations extinguish the fear
As I notice beauty radiating from you my dear

Purest the soul finds delight
With you by my side every night
