Love is strange
And fascinating,
An attractive melody,
Internally palpitating,
Deeper than deep can be.
Once in love,
All battle, useless,
Love does come so suddenly,
A stranger becomes your idol,
One to worship, constantly.
Love is strange,
But fascinating,
Best of best that Life can give,
Feelings never duplicated,
Without which you cannot live.
Fascinating poem, totally resonated within my heart and mind! It's meaning has been deeply embedded in my being, to be remembered whenever thinking of an unconditional love I hold within. It's definitely strangely fascinating, being hit blindly, and realizing you cannot live without it. Poignantly written, beautiful words now a memory to ponder in life. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

LOVE...WITHOUT WHICH YOU CANNOT LIVE - At first, Sandra, I was going to write, BUT SOME OF US DO LIVE WITHOUT LOVE, then it hit me there is always some kind of love or degree of love in our lives, we just might be too stubborn or depressed to notice it. The problem is we first think of romantic attachments, and that missing, we say there's no love and yet there is the love of a beloved pet, the love of an elderly aunt, the love of a dasughter or son or nephew, the love of a great book or painting, and suddenly we know LIFE IS LOVE AND LOVE IS LIFE.
