Love's Strength Poem by ENOCH JOHN

Love's Strength

Love can be stronger than the wind,
Or can leap over mountains or the wide ocean.
Love can envelop and overpower even the stone-hearted,
Melting down that hard heart as heat to ice.

Love was conceived in a furnace,
And was forged to withstand worldly pain,
Even the force of nature,
Love is that pearl that we seek.

Yes, if we can get past that sandy grit, we get the slimy pearl!
