Love Sans Soul Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Love Sans Soul

Rating: 5.0

no soul can live by moonlight alone
though deepest is the night
the next day sunbeams will appear again
the whole earth is alive again,
no longer in deep sleep
no one will cry,
oh yes, we make love and have romance
by the light of the silvery moon,
but with constant light of the golden sun

sans sun,
we'll never have love and romance
by the light of the silvery moon

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
God is my Light and my Guidance, but this poem goes about the sun as the light giver that cause all things on earth can live and grow. As we all know, God creates the earth, the sun and the rest. Let me think poetic, but to my opinion poetry must be accompanied by the thing that is called theory. Without the sun, nothing can live or grow on this earth, we make love by the light of the silvery moon, BUT this moon gets its light from the golden sun. That is basic truth Thank you for reading and understanding my explanation, thank you so much for visiting this poem site of me, best wishes from The Netherlands, © Sylvia Frances Chan Dutch Poetess
