Love Slips Like Fish.
Two souls fall in love
And seek every chance
To meet each other
On this or that pretext.
Alas, it is aborted.
The lady soul withdraws,
Faster than it could,
As if a repelling one,
Once she suspects
Others’ meaningful eyes.
She avoids every chance
And will turn inimical
