Love Song - Poem by Will Barber

See, I am full of clouds today,
Mists and winds and prophecy,
Living at the periphery
Of the holy ocean.
No words can comfort me:
'Tis words have brought me
To this subjectivity
And ceaseless motion.
Come sit beside me, then,
Late in the afternoon;
One glance will win me from
This idle passion.

    Serenely, pensively flowing Will. I would LOVE to sit beside you in the afternoon. t x (Report) Reply

    An eloquent offering. Apparently,1980 was a very good year for poetry.

    Always your friend,
