Love Sounds - Lincoln Park Zoo

Cheyenne and Jethro, a pair of
European white storks each who
Engage in a courtship of love
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
With head thrown back each big bird be
Synchronizing to make each beak
Open and close quite rapidly
To create a clattering speak,
Throat amplified in loud love sound.
A monogamous species, they
Daily voice love that does abound.
Each day is a Valentine's Day.

At the Zoo all can surely hear
Cheyenne and Jethro, loud and clear.
