Fingers entwined, Joined hand in hand
In a lovers embrace they stand
To be together forever that is their will
Praying and wishing time would stay still
Try as they might that cannot be
They are separated for eternity
An evil doing holds one in chains
And to the other causes constant pains
All is not lost, hope holds strong and true
Waiting to be free is all they can do
When that day comes their hearts will be one
they will prove to the world that love cannot be undone
