Love Those Who Love You Poem by Hebert Logerie

Love Those Who Love You

Love those who care for you
Appreciate those who appreciate you
A dog rarely bites its owner
If a dog does that, just put it to sleep
Gentlemen, love the women who love you
The women, who care for you
If someone does not like you, don't be angry
People have the rights to like or dislike
This is a democracy, everyone is free
Chill with those who stand with you
Disregard or steer clear of the ones who can't stand you
Keep a cool head; do not behave like you're crazy
When a dog barks its owner, this is due to happiness
But, when it bites its master, this is aggressiveness
It is ok to shoot it or to put it to sleep
A cat always respects its master
Avoid those who don't give a hoot about you
However, appreciate those who appreciate you
Don't lose sleep over someone who despises you
However, do your best for those who care about you
Ignore the gooey hypocrites and the slimy ingrates
Old cats shall remain old cats regardless
At times, they behave like grumpy old crabs
And they unnervingly mimic old rats
Please love those who care for you
And acknowledge those who see you.
