Long gone from you and others too.
A love to want and wished.
Maybe it came.
With an ease to disbelieve it true.
And it left to leave from you.
Perhaps it too,
Felt the time was wrong.
Since love from you,
Was not returned to prove it wanted.

Love to want it given,
Comes to want it to get.
Sitting around to hope for it.
Is not often what love does.
With another to wonder or it wished.

Many seldom notice what love is.
Believing its appearance made,
Comes with it done to be announced.
And if the image does not meet expectations,
That door once open through it love exits.
Not wanting that feeling from another neglected.

Love to want.
After it goes to wish it back.
Is not what love to have had often does.
Love given to get it and felt it real.
Is love to feel.
With any baggage carried,
Unpacked and understood...
Where it has been; where it is at.
And welcomed stay!
That's the kind of love to want.
