Love Toxic: A Stake Through Heart Poem by Terence George Craddock

Love Toxic: A Stake Through Heart

Angelique West wrote
an exceptional raw
devastated poem of pain
which screams past
endless betrayals
hurt that can drive insane
a sad magnificent poem titled
'Love Doesn't Know My Name.'

which screams rage which reminds
somehow of 'Daddy' by Sylvia Plath
although theme style are not comparable

'Love Doesn't Know My Name.'
emotional impact is a stake through heart
a 34 year scroll stained blood written confessional

a chilling tale screaming abuse abandonment
screaming I've loved repeatedly unrequited
screaming I've loved even the false demented

love wolves in sheep skin leaves broken kicked in

Angelique West wrote torment impossible to write
best read in bright daylight not dark depressed night
traumatic survival cast out naked no gleam hope bright

difficult to write screaming eternity writ in heartache pain
violence intense that stiletto stabs through eyeball to brain
oceanic titanic icy flesh corpsical chilling lies injustice burns

surviving healing intense heart wringing pain can create
new strengths among gaping weakness decades regenerating
write yourself into a beautiful place; choose a few beautiful

people as friends some are easy to find wearing
their heart on their sleeves; then love yourself
and love within a poetic beauty of artistic mind

'Love Doesn't Know My Name.'
powerfully expressed love vindictive cruel heartless
is a toxic love binding burn scaring impaled flesh

'Love Doesn't Know My Name.'
a replacement warning applied
Loving All The Wrong People

to expect love from people who cannot
give love is a needle endless waiting game
if parents siblings relatives are not worthy

of love health happiness survival moves on

love will not know your name until
you find sincerity people worthy of love
love will not know your name until
you flee from deceit wolf skin lovers

love may come late in own time
love invested in art is more dependable
from a love of art comes many things
good things buzzing; art is its own reward
