Love without ending
is everyone’s constant dream,
love to cherish,
as life grows old and cold.
Love to warm us
through the years to come.
Love without ever having an end.
Love of this special kind
is said to be rare indeed,
maybe that is true,
for not everyone ever finds it.
Some have to search a lifetime,
while others hardly at all
to obtain that dream.
