Lovers Leap Poem by Tom J. Mariani

Lovers Leap

Rating: 4.4

Love is a leap
No matter what they say
Whether it is forever
A season or just a day

For we don't fall in love
Rather we leap at each other
Once we recognize the spark
We think it will never smother

Only after we have leapt
Can we see where we have landed
For some life is more than fair
For others seemingly underhanded

You pen your truth very prettily Tom and with just a hint of irony. Great poem. love, Allie xxxx

Tom, The old saying that love is blind certainly rings true with this poem. We never know where we have leaped to until we get there. Top marks my friend and thanks for sharing this. David
