Loving Father - Poem by Sharee Flood
A real man that stands alone above the rest
The one who looks at his children, knowing that he is blessed
He works really hard and he doesnt like to slack
He loves coming home to hear 'Daddy let me get on your back'
It brings a softer side that he never new he had
Sitting, realizing that 'I love being a Dad'
Even though he works hard to stay dedicated
There comes a time when he might feel frustrated
Its ok he's never singing 'Blue Moon'
But he wakes up in the morning ready to watch cartoons
Its hard to be a father single or not
But with each day you give it all you got
Nobodies perfect we all make mistakes
But its your chldren that will always give you a clean slate
Be apart of their lives, make it your mission
You need them and they need you under all conditions
To loving fathers I commend what you do
Keep up the good work, your children need you
