Loving Him Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Loving Him

In drops of blood I do write
I weave a web of tangled lies
When I agree to hide my plight
Can you not hear my soul's sighs?

Afraid to first meet
And then to part
A wisp of my soul just flew apart
See it rendered from my heart

A deep yearning
That only grows strong
How can this feeling
Ever be deemed wrong?

Just to caress you
And feel your warmth
In this uncaring world
One soul that calms

A soul that truly understands
Takes my worries
Soothes my qualms
Why he is made of the perfect balms

My pains all gone
My hurt is done
Hetakes and yet gives
And I can only forgive

A calm descends
Only he comprehends
His single word can mend or rend
He is that for which the mind unbends
