Low Blows To Take Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Low Blows To Take

Living life to experience.
In the face of opposition and obstacles to erase.
One knows when to take the high road.
Using common sense and logic.
Quickly done to use.
And with steps to move away.
In a swift pace.
To leave behind anyone in the midst,
Alone in their own escalated argument.
Making the doing of this,
Disliked.
By the one disappointed a fight they wished,
To have and ignite.
Appears more to others,
Who it was left taking their own low blows.
And who refused to be made a fool.
With another loving the attention they get,
When provoking to solicit...
The showing of their own addiction,
To stupidity.
