We were excited to hear
The name of Laika* dog in space gear
She was taken abroad in sputnik
The space shuttle to find out basic changes

Never heard in history of space science
That dog may find the real presence
We ran in street with stray dogs
Named after Laika* tagged

We could see the long tail of smoke
We were given many names in jokes
It was because thinness of oxygen in air
The reason seemed to be very fair

It opened the space adventure
The sky was going to be our future
For future communication
And finding of new place for rehabilitation

We could only imagine
About moon and space shuttle
This was beginning of new age
The jet, rockets and space shuttle were borne in new age
