Lust Poem by Christina Simmons

Lust

At the beginning love is sweet, pleasantly so sincere
Also it's beautiful, bountyful and plenty
This love you've stolen, hijacking without a care
Because the passion you lust after
, libido you want hoping forever it will last,
terminally you linger.

You're smiling sweetly, secretly hoping only death
will follow this attachment you've found, making
a claim for; avoiding pain you feel manipulation
Deniable desire you've swipe is never without afliction

Hold on with all your might pulling as hard as you can
Feel the energy flowing anyhow through unreasonbly and insecure you've become; your surrounding now folly, panic and phobia are setting in: There's no escape; love you've found is stolen
infatuation not yours to accumulate

Let go! Release you must! Run a mile: Free as a bird
you once were; loose like a dove you want to be but a caged
birdie you feel, wishing just maybe emtombment will come
and you'll be rescued; this love you've found, established
is sweeten with honey, tastier than cream: this flavour
you now relished

Forever you must have; overlooking blemished short comings
setting in that's the penance you pay for lustful love.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Being totally taken in by lustfulness, and how this can affect a person from having clear vision. It's OK to have lust in life but don't see it as the be all and end all: there're times you need to let go - just see it as a LTKO.
