Ma And Flash Poem by Ima Ryma

Ma And Flash

Josephine Bogash took her son,
Billy, to the Roller Derby.
They both thought it was so much fun,
And skated into history,
As 'Ma' and 'Flash' - oh what a team,
Rolling the roller pro circuit,
Living the American Dream,
Grabbing the gusto, nothing but.
The Roller Derby Hall of Fame -
Ma was conducted - first female.
And the next year rolling Flash came,
A mother/son thing without fail.

Ma and Flash Bogash skated to
A dreamworld that for them came true.
